CMMI

Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) is a process level improvement training and appraisal program. Administered by the CMMI Institute, a subsidiaryof ISACA, it was developed at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU). CMMI can be used to guide process improvement across a project, division, or an entire organization.It is required by many Indian Government contracts, especially in software development.

CMMI is a process improvement framework companies use to improve an organization’s software development processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs. It is an integrated set of best practices that enhances an organization’s capability to develop quality products and services that meet customer and end-user needs.
