Gap Analysis
‘Gap Analysis’ is performed to recognize the need or current status of the organization. Under Gap Analysis we discover the improvement opportunities for the organization and devise a road map of improvement activities. This is an informal type of assessment and ratings are provided in case requested by sponsor.
The main purpose of gap analysis is to:

The end result is an “Gap Analysis” report. However, we work closely with organization to realize this report into further analysis and development of improvement program and achieve the main purpose for which the gap analysis is conducted.

Formal Assessment / Appraisal
Formal assessment is conducted to provide rating to an organization/ project, technically named as ‘Capability or Maturity Determination’. QMGC facilitates the following models for formal appraisal/assessments:
– Automotive SPICE®
– CMMI®
QMGC also performs ‘Supplier Assessments’ for Capability determination on request from OEM. In this case the assessment is of a formal type. The main purpose is to be provide the customer with the current status of the supplier organization. The results of assessments/benchmarking need to be used by the supplier for its improvement programs. We also provide regular monitoring services of the supplier organizations and provide the customer organization with an customized report of its progress.
QMGC has partnered with SEI Authorized Lead Appraisers, SEI Authorized High Maturity Lead Appraisers to carry out CMMI SCAMPI assessments to facilitate these services.
